Support Fundraising Events in Aid of Vitanova

Vitanova holds two events each year, to raise additional funds to support programs and program components that are not otherwise funded. These include our annual Celebration of Life (see photograph below) and our annual Summer Festival, held on the grounds of Vitanova. Look for advertisements in local papers for information about these events, and others—organized by third parties—in aid of Vitanova. For information on either sort of events, contact us at 905-850-3690 or at

Make a Donation, Bequest or Memorial

Vitanova operates as a charitable organization and relies on your donations to supplement provincial and local funding. Some donations come in the form of bequests, others in memory of a deceased family member or friend.

Your support keeps our doors open!

Here’s how:

A donation of $20 will cover the cost of a snack provided to all domiciliary residents before they go to bed.

$50 pays for housekeeping costs for a day: cleaning supplies, detergents, paper towels, toilet paper, and so forth.

$100 buys fresh meat or fish and produce for a lunch served to 28 shelter clients and 25 day clients

$150 will cover the cost of all utilities (heat, electricity, etc.) for one day.
