Italian refugee, concentration camp survivor, and nurse practitioner Franca Damiani Carella built a nationally recognized monumental institution and not-for-profit corporation on the foundation of generosity and love for her Canadian community. Franca’s legacy continues to live on through The Vitanova Foundation and has changed the lives of many.
Members of The Vitanova Foundation attend a general meeting once a year, to receive a report on the operations of the agency over the course of the previous fiscal year, particularly in regard to progress made in the execution of its current strategic plan.
