Franca’s Story
A concentration camp survivor, displaced person, refugee and immigrant to Canada, her career began as a nurse, eventually specializing in geriatric care, until she realized the growing toll that substance use was taking on our community.
Beginning in 1987, she built a nationally-recognized, not-for-profit corporation and registered charity that has been providing a unique range of free services to individuals, families, and the community at large ever since.
