The bulk of the funding for our core day treatment program comes from this division of the Government of Ontario, via ONTARIO HEALTH TEAMS, to whom we are accountable.

United Way of Greater Toronto

This funding stream was first formalized in 1999, with the development of our on-site domiciliary unit for homeless males who would otherwise not have been able to attend our day treatment program. Vitanova remains a member agency of the United Way.

Labourers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA), Local 183

LIUNA Local 183’s training centre is located a stone’s throw from our home, and the union’s Toronto headquarters will soon be moving to a site adjacent to their centre. It’s long-term support of the work of Vitanova gives new meaning to the word “neighbourly”.

Realtors CARE Foundation

This charitable arm of the Ontario real estate industry has been a financial supporter of our shelter for many years.

Ontario Trillium Foundation

A five-year grant over twenty years ago made possible our on-site shelter for homeless male clients. A second Trillium grant in 2013 resulted in the broadcast-length video which provides an in-depth look at Vitanova’s abstinence-based approach.
